Colorado!

Steve and I headed to Denver for an actual vacation. We stayed with my old MSU friends, Justin and Susan. We spent 2 days exploring Denver and the surrounding areas including Red Rocks Amphitheater, Buffalo Bill's grave. The last day was hiking in Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park. We were up as high as 10700ft with a net elevation gain of 2100ft over a 9 mile hike. It was an awesome trail! We even saw a moose!

Steve turned 33 today and celebrated with a yummy fruit flan dessert!

Spring/Summer 2012

A great deal of time has past since I last posted the Grand Adventures of my life. Life has a way of reminding us we are human. I have surrounded myself with positive energy in my work and home, despite the difficult events in the past year.  Life has continued to teach me patience and show me love and kindness and I feel more whole because of it.  Thank you to family and friends who have supported me and helped me grow.

Summer has finally reached the Pacific Northwest and I'm happy to see the rain go. The dogs get to play outside more and so do we! Here are some of the random happenings of the early summer. Can't wait to visit Michigan in a couple of weeks!
