Weekend Cycling

Prince Paws-ies!

Sleepy puppy

27 miles, 2 major hill climbs, good friends, and a whole lot of sunshine!

My friend Kory and I at the top of the Norway Hill climb: 444ft climb over 1.5 miles with a descending speed of 38mph. I did one more climb with Zach later up Hollywood Hill near the end of our ride at 558ft climb over 2 miles with a descending speed of only 25 mph because I had to stop halfway since my chain decided to fall off my chain ring. Yikes! I burned 1045 calories in 2 hrs and 44 min of ride time. Then, I devoured 1/2 of a pizza. Worth every bite!

Just Really Sad

These tsunami waves, though lower in height, keep crashing me down. How many buckets of tears can my eyes fill? I'm so tired.

Mt Pilchuck view from my house. Steve and I's first hike together and where I scattered at bit of his ashes.

Jobin loves his belly rubs

Calm waters of the Sound tonight

I have prayed so hard for my grass to grow this year. By the looks of it, I'll have to re-seed to fill in a lot of bare spots. I just wish I could have a grassy backyard.
